Humans can learn a lot from dogs and cats playing together
[With the heat of July in the Northern Hemisphere come the so-called "dog days of summer," a perfect time to remember just how cool man's best friend is. In this video, animal behaviorists at the Cincinnati Zoo introduce Tommy T, a cheetah cub and Pow Wow, an Anatolian shepherd puppy, for the first time. They will become ambassadors in the zoo's Cat Ambassador program. The Anatolian shepherd is an ancient livestock guardian dog, prized for its devotion to its flock and its ability to kill wolves. Because Pow Wow and Tommy are being imprinted on each other as babies, Pow Wow will likely protect Tommy for the rest of his life.
